It has been a big learning curve, in all aspects. Playing golf has taught me to be a leader and to embrace the position that I have been blessed with to be able to inspire everyone but mostly the youth in Botswana.
Her Story
Twenty Years of Golf. Swinging Since 2002.
Ouname Mhotsha is one of the few young ladies that were introduced to golf in Botswana. At the age of 12, she went on to become the youngest player to dominate the golf ranks in the country attaining 16 amateur wins , including 2 international wins.
She had a successful college golf career in the united states for 4 years from (2017-2021). She aims to be the first female professional golfer from Botswana.
