Full name is Ouname Lemogang Mhotsha… nickname is Fanta… daughter of Godfrey and Tshepiso Mhotsha… enjoys reading motivational books and empowering others… majoring in agricultural economics.
Ouname Mhotsha had never stepped foot in the United States until she arrived at Alcorn State University to be a part of the women’s golf program.
The Lady Braves registered a pair of top-10 finishes. Junior Ouname Mhotsha placed sixth with a 161 (+17) score, while freshman Celestine Nawa ended in eighth after carding a 167 (+23).
Ouname Mhotsha is a pioneer, a youth mentor, and a community developer for underserved communities. She is a ball of positive energy, often mistaken for being quiet but she has a vibrant and powerful personality that she always aims to share with those who need it along her journey. Ouname aims to live a holistic and wholesome life that is guided by God and lessons from everyone that she meets in her journey.
